Our Nanny (D.'s grandmother) made this sweet sweater set for her first great-grandchild. It really is beautiful... a lot prettier in person than in this picture. It will look great on our little boy.
Here I am at 22 weeks... sorry I missed last week. It was the first week of classes and very BUSY! Last week we found out that it's definitely a HE! I started to feel him moving for the first time last week, and D. felt him on Saturday. It's a really amazing thing to feel him move around and kick inside of me.
We spent so much time at the Wesley house on Saturday. We had a yard sale in the morning, but it was a blessing because we earned about $1200. Then, some of the board members came over in the afternoon and brought their big tools. They took out a lot of extra growth, and the Wesley house looks great! Here are a few shots.
Here are a few pictures of our family room. It really is a nice space. We had a party with twelve college students in here already! Everybody fits with room for lots more.
Here I am at 18 weeks... I'm a little late posting this week because we've been hanging curtains and decorating with all of the items from our trip to Ikea. I'll post pictures of the house again later this week.
Two more weeks and I'll be halfway there! I feel like I get bigger every day. I look a little tired in the picture this week.
Here I am at 16 weeks! We went to the doctor today for our first appointment in Oxford, and we really liked our new doctor. He seems to take the time to talk with us and support our decisions. We were excited to have another ultrasound and to discover that we're most likely having a boy! She wasn't 100% sure because the umbilical cord was in there too, but I think I definitely noticed something between the legs even before she mentioned it. We're excited because this makes everything seem more real.
We are working hard with obedience training with our dog, Rigby. She has started taking her naps on top of the patio table, though. We have to figure out how to teach her not to do that! As you can see, she even pulls her towel up there with her.
We moved into our house on July 1st, and thanks to our parents it is looking better and better. The house is a parsonage, and about 50 years old. It is so big! We already had a party with plenty of space for all of our college students. We still have some work to do, but here it is...
